How to uninstall Gmail from your PC

Gmail is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was developed for Windows by Google\Chrome Beta. Additional info about Google\Chrome Beta can be read here. Usually the Gmail application is to be found in the C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome Beta\Application folder, depending on the user's option during install. You can uninstall Gmail by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome Beta\Application\chrome.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file occupies 1.55 MB (1625488 bytes) on disk and is called chrome_pwa_launcher.exe.

Gmail installs the following the executables on your PC, occupying about 16.13 MB (16913648 bytes) on disk.

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\WebAuth\Gmail


How to erase Gmail from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Gmail is a program marketed by the software company Google\Chrome Beta. Sometimes, users choose to remove this program. 3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Gmail or simply click the Search feature and type in "Gmail". The Gmail application will be found automatically. After you select Gmail in the list of programs, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Gmail, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Gmail.
