A way to uninstall Google Chrome from your computer

Google Chrome is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was created for Windows by Google MMC. Open here for more details on Google MMC. The application is usually located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application directory. Keep in mind that this location can differ depending on the user's preference. You can remove Google Chrome by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\81.0.4044.138\Installer\setup.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. chrome.exe is the Google Chrome's main executable file and it occupies approximately 1.61 MB (1689584 bytes) on disk.

The executable files below are installed beside Google Chrome. They take about 8.52 MB (8929696 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Google Chrome with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Google Chrome is a program by Google MMC. Some people try to erase it. Sometimes this is efortful because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Google Chrome or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Google Chrome". If it exists on your system the Google Chrome program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Google Chrome in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Google Chrome, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Google Chrome.

8. After removing Google Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Google Chrome that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
