How to uninstall Google Chrome from your computer

Google Chrome is a computer program. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by Google MMC. Check out here where you can get more info on Google MMC. Google Chrome is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application folder, depending on the user's choice. Google Chrome's full uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\80.0.3987.132\Installer\setup.exe. The application's main executable file is named chrome.exe and its approximative size is 1.63 MB (1712112 bytes).

The following executables are installed along with Google Chrome. They take about 8.62 MB (9034656 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove Google Chrome using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Google Chrome is an application marketed by the software company Google MMC. Some people decide to remove it. This can be efortful because uninstalling this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove Google Chrome is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your system.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Google Chrome or simply activate the Search field and type in "Google Chrome". If it exists on your system the Google Chrome program will be found automatically. After you select Google Chrome in the list , the following data about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Google Chrome, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Google Chrome.

8. After uninstalling Google Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Google Chrome which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Google Chrome with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
