A way to uninstall Google Chrome from your computer

Google Chrome is a Windows program. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by Google MMC. More info about Google MMC can be read here. The program is often placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling Google Chrome is C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\106.0.5249.119\Installer\setup.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file is labeled chrome.exe and occupies 2.77 MB (2900760 bytes).

The following executables are contained in Google Chrome. They take 16.79 MB (17608104 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall Google Chrome with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Google Chrome is a program offered by Google MMC. Some users decide to remove this application. Sometimes this can be difficult because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. The best EASY manner to remove Google Chrome is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Google Chrome or simply activate the Search field and type in "Google Chrome". If it exists on your system the Google Chrome app will be found very quickly. When you click Google Chrome in the list of programs, the following data about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Google Chrome, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Google Chrome.

8. After removing Google Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Google Chrome that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Google Chrome using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
