A guide to uninstall HDCleaner from your PC

HDCleaner is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows release was created by Kurt Zimmermann. Check out here for more info on Kurt Zimmermann. The program is often located in the C:\Program Files\HDCleaner folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove HDCleaner by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\HDCleaner\Uninstaller.exe /uninstall. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 3.07 MB (3219560 bytes) on disk and is called HDCleaner.exe.

HDCleaner is composed of the following executables which take 3.88 MB (4066600 bytes) on disk:

  • HDCleaner.exe (3.07 MB)
  • RecoverFiles.exe (218.59 KB)
  • Uninstaller.exe (542.60 KB)
  • Updater.exe (66.00 KB)

A way to delete HDCleaner with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

HDCleaner is an application by Kurt Zimmermann. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall this application. If it exists on your system the HDCleaner application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click HDCleaner in the list of apps, the following data about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about HDCleaner, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove HDCleaner.

8. After uninstalling HDCleaner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong HDCleaner which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling HDCleaner with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
