How to remove HP Support Assistant from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

HP Support Assistant is a program offered by the software company HP Inc.. Sometimes, users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove HP Support Assistant is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your system.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find HP Support Assistant or simply activate the Search feature and type in "HP Support Assistant". If it is installed on your PC the HP Support Assistant application will be found automatically. After you click HP Support Assistant in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding HP Support Assistant, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove HP Support Assistant.

8. After uninstalling HP Support Assistant, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of HP Support Assistant that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling HP Support Assistant with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
