IDT Audio is a software application. IDT Audio has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders left behind when you uninstall IDT Audio:

• C:\Program Files\IDT

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Program Files\IDT\WDM\AESTSr64.exe
• C:\Program Files\IDT\WDM\stacsv64.exe
• C:\Program Files\IDT\WDM\sttray64.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\IDT\Audio
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\IDT\IDT Audio
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{E3A5A8AB-58F6-45FF-AFCB-C9AE18C05001}

How to uninstall IDT Audio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

IDT Audio is a program offered by the software company IDT. Some people try to remove it. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove IDT Audio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find IDT Audio or simply activate the Search field and type in "IDT Audio". If it is installed on your PC the IDT Audio app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click IDT Audio in the list , the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding IDT Audio, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{E3A5A8AB-58F6-45FF-AFCB-C9AE18C05001}\Setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove IDT Audio.


8. After uninstalling IDT Audio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong IDT Audio which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling IDT Audio using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
