How to uninstall Lightroom from your computer

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Lightroom:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.4
  • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.4
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall Lightroom:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.4\AdobePiStd.otf
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.4\AgNetIO.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.4\apdboot.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.4\apdproxy.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.aglib
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.agmodule
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.agtoolkit
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.lrcat

Supplementary registry values that are not removed:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AdobeLightroom.Aglib\shell\Open\command\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AdobeLightroom.agmodule\shell\Open\command\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AdobeLightroom.agtoolkit\shell\Open\command\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AdobeLightroom.lrcat\shell\Open\command\


A way to remove Lightroom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lightroom is an application released by the software company Adobe. Sometimes, people want to erase this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Lightroom or simply click the Search field and type in "Lightroom". If it exists on your system the Lightroom program will be found very quickly. After you click Lightroom in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Lightroom, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Lightroom.
