How to uninstall MSI companion from your computer

MSI companion is a computer program. This page holds details on how to remove it from your PC. How to uninstall MSI companion from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MSI companion is an application offered by Overwolf app. Some computer users want to erase this application. This is hard because performing this manually requires some knowledge regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE procedure to erase MSI companion is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate MSI companion or simply click the Search feature and type in "MSI companion". If it is installed on your PC the MSI companion app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click MSI companion in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is shown to you:

Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding MSI companion, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall MSI companion.

8. After removing MSI companion, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong MSI companion which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing MSI companion with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
