A way to erase Maxthon from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program offered by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Some users decide to erase this program. Sometimes this is efortful because doing this manually requires some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE procedure to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Maxthon in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Maxthon.

8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
