A way to uninstall Maxthon from your system

Maxthon is a software application. This page is comprised of details on how to remove it from your computer. It is made by The Maxthon Authors. Open here for more info on The Maxthon Authors. The application is frequently located in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\6.1.2.1600\Installer\setup.exe is the full command line if you want to remove Maxthon. Maxthon.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 2.16 MB (2262880 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Maxthon from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application marketed by The Maxthon Authors. Some computer users choose to remove it. This is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Maxthon in the list of applications, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
