A way to uninstall Maxthon from your system

Below you can find details on how to remove it from your PC. It is written by The Maxthon Authors. Further information on The Maxthon Authors can be found here. Maxthon is usually installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon folder, depending on the user's option. You can uninstall Maxthon by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\7.1.8.6800\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Maxthon.exe is the Maxthon's main executable file and it takes approximately 3.61 MB (3780896 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program released by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Some people choose to erase this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because performing this manually takes some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE solution to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Maxthon or simply click the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon program will be found automatically. When you click Maxthon in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
