A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Maxthon is a Windows application. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. The program's main executable file has a size of 2.99 MB (3131680 bytes) on disk and is called Maxthon.exe.

A way to delete Maxthon from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application released by The Maxthon Authors. Some users try to remove it. Sometimes this is efortful because performing this by hand requires some experience related to PCs. One of the best EASY procedure to remove Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply click the Search field and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Maxthon in the list , some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
