Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file occupies 3.58 MB (3754088 bytes) on disk and is called Maxthon.exe.

A way to delete Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program released by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply click the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon program will be found automatically. When you click Maxthon in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
