A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

Maxthon is a computer program. This page is comprised of details on how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by The Maxthon Authors. Further information on The Maxthon Authors can be found here. The program is usually placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling Maxthon is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\7.3.1.4400\Installer\setup.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. Maxthon's main file takes about 3.32 MB (3478632 bytes) and is named Maxthon.exe.

A way to uninstall Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program offered by The Maxthon Authors. Frequently, computer users try to erase this program. This is difficult because removing this manually requires some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE solution to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Maxthon in the list of apps, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
