A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

Maxthon is a software application. A way to delete Maxthon with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application offered by The Maxthon Authors. Some computer users choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon app will be found very quickly. When you select Maxthon in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.

8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
