Maxthon is a Windows program. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. It is produced by The Maxthon Authors. Further information on The Maxthon Authors can be found here. The program is often found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon directory (same installation drive as Windows). C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\7.2.2.5000\Installer\setup.exe is the full command line if you want to remove Maxthon. Maxthon's primary file takes about 3.61 MB (3790440 bytes) and is named Maxthon.exe.

How to erase Maxthon from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program by The Maxthon Authors. Frequently, computer users try to erase this application. Sometimes this is hard because doing this by hand takes some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY practice to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon app will be found automatically. When you click Maxthon in the list of apps, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
