How to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

A way to uninstall Maxthon from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application marketed by The Maxthon Authors. Some computer users try to remove this program. This can be difficult because doing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE procedure to remove Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon app will be found very quickly. When you select Maxthon in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
