A way to uninstall Maxthon from your system

Maxthon is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by The Maxthon Authors. Further information on The Maxthon Authors can be found here. The program is often located in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\7.0.0.1401\Installer\setup.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall Maxthon. Maxthon.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 2.99 MB (3132704 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Maxthon from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program by The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, people try to erase it. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY procedure to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon application will be found very quickly. When you select Maxthon in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
