A way to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Maxthon is a computer program. This page contains details on how to remove it from your PC. The Windows version was created by The Maxthon Authors. More data about The Maxthon Authors can be read here. Usually the Maxthon application is installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for uninstalling Maxthon is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\7.2.2.7200\Installer\setup.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. Maxthon's main file takes about 2.92 MB (3062888 bytes) and its name is Maxthon.exe.

How to delete Maxthon from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application released by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Frequently, users try to remove this application. Sometimes this is hard because removing this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon program will be found very quickly. When you click Maxthon in the list , the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
