How to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 2.16 MB (2268512 bytes) on disk and is labeled Maxthon.exe.

A way to uninstall Maxthon from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon program will be found very quickly. When you click Maxthon in the list of apps, the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.

8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
