A way to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

This web page contains complete information on how to uninstall Maxthon for Windows. The Windows version was developed by The Maxthon Authors. More information on The Maxthon Authors can be seen here. The application is often installed in the C:\Users\61437\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling Maxthon is C:\Users\61437\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\6.1.2.2300\Installer\setup.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. Maxthon's primary file takes about 2.16 MB (2263840 bytes) and is called Maxthon.exe.

How to erase Maxthon from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program marketed by The Maxthon Authors. Some users decide to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Maxthon in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
