A way to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

Maxthon is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. It was created for Windows by The Maxthon Authors. Check out here for more information on The Maxthon Authors. Usually the Maxthon program is found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application folder, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall Maxthon by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\7.0.2.2900\Installer\setup.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Maxthon.exe is the Maxthon's main executable file and it occupies close to 3.36 MB (3526944 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Maxthon from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program released by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Some computer users want to erase it. This is hard because removing this manually takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY practice to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Maxthon in the list , some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
