A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

Maxthon is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by The Maxthon Authors. Go over here where you can read more on The Maxthon Authors. Maxthon is usually installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon folder, but this location may vary a lot depending on the user's choice while installing the program. The complete uninstall command line for Maxthon is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\7.3.1.2200\Installer\setup.exe. Maxthon.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 3.32 MB (3478632 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove Maxthon from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application released by The Maxthon Authors. Some people decide to uninstall it. This can be efortful because performing this manually takes some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY action to uninstall Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon app will be found automatically. When you click Maxthon in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
