How to erase Maxthon from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application released by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, people try to remove this application. This can be hard because performing this manually takes some skill regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to remove Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon program will be found automatically. When you select Maxthon in the list of applications, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
