A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Below you can find details on how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by The Maxthon Authors. Open here for more information on The Maxthon Authors. Usually the Maxthon program is found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application folder, depending on the user's option during install. C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\6.1.2.500\Installer\setup.exe is the full command line if you want to remove Maxthon. Maxthon.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 2.16 MB (2268512 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Maxthon with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application marketed by The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, users want to erase it. This is troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge regarding PCs. The best QUICK approach to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Maxthon in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
