How to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

Maxthon is a computer program. This page holds details on how to uninstall it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by The Maxthon Authors. More info about The Maxthon Authors can be read here. The application is often located in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application folder (same installation drive as Windows). The complete uninstall command line for Maxthon is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\6.2.0.1600\Installer\setup.exe. Maxthon.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 2.99 MB (3131680 bytes) on disk.

Maxthon is comprised of the following executables which occupy 22.60 MB (23698112 bytes) on disk:

How to uninstall Maxthon from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program released by The Maxthon Authors. Some people decide to erase it. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this by hand takes some skill related to PCs. The best SIMPLE approach to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Maxthon in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
