How to uninstall Maxthon from your PC

A way to erase Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, computer users decide to erase it. Sometimes this is hard because doing this by hand requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE way to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Maxthon in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
