A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Maxthon is a Windows application. Keep in mind that this path can differ being determined by the user's choice. You can uninstall Maxthon by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\7.1.8.7001\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Maxthon's primary file takes around 3.61 MB (3780896 bytes) and its name is Maxthon.exe.

Maxthon is comprised of the following executables which occupy 25.01 MB (26225856 bytes) on disk:

A way to erase Maxthon from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program released by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Frequently, computer users decide to uninstall this application. 6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon app will be found very quickly. When you select Maxthon in the list of applications, the following information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Maxthon.

8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
