How to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

How to uninstall Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program by The Maxthon Authors. Some computer users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this can be hard because removing this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY way to erase Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply click the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon program will be found automatically. After you click Maxthon in the list of applications, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
