How to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

How to delete Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program by The Maxthon Authors. Some people try to uninstall it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY way to uninstall Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Maxthon in the list , the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
