How to remove Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program marketed by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Some people decide to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon program will be found very quickly. When you select Maxthon in the list , the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
