Maxthon has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Maxthon:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 2\IndexedDB\https_forum.maxthon.com_0.indexeddb.leveldb
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IDM\DwnlData\UserName\forum_maxthon_com_872

The files below are left behind on your disk by Maxthon when you uninstall it:

Frequently the following registry data will not be removed:

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

A way to delete Maxthon from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program by the software company The Maxthon Authors. Frequently, users decide to uninstall this program. 6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". The Maxthon app will be found automatically. After you select Maxthon in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
