How to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Maxthon is a Windows program. Read more about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by The Maxthon Authors. More information on The Maxthon Authors can be found here. The application is frequently located in the C:\Users\Super Workstation\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). The complete uninstall command line for Maxthon is C:\Users\Super Workstation\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\6.2.0.2500\Installer\setup.exe. Maxthon.exe is the Maxthon's main executable file and it occupies circa 2.99 MB (3131680 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Maxthon from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program offered by The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove Maxthon is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it is installed on your PC the Maxthon application will be found automatically. When you select Maxthon in the list , the following information about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Maxthon.

8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Maxthon which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
