A guide to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

Maxthon is a software application. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Maxthon's main file takes about 2.74 MB (2874144 bytes) and its name is Maxthon.exe.

A way to remove Maxthon from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is a program offered by The Maxthon Authors. Sometimes, computer users try to erase it. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply activate the Search field and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon app will be found very quickly. When you select Maxthon in the list , some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Maxthon, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Maxthon.


8. After removing Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Maxthon with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
