How to uninstall Maxthon from your computer

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove Maxthon for Windows. It was developed for Windows by The Maxthon Authors. You can find out more on The Maxthon Authors or check for application updates here. Maxthon is normally set up in the C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application folder, regulated by the user's option. The full command line for uninstalling Maxthon is C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\6.2.0.2300\Installer\setup.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for administrator rights. Maxthon.exe is the Maxthon's primary executable file and it takes around 2.99 MB (3131680 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall Maxthon with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Maxthon is an application offered by The Maxthon Authors. Some people decide to erase this application. This can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Maxthon or simply click the Search feature and type in "Maxthon". If it exists on your system the Maxthon program will be found very quickly. After you select Maxthon in the list of apps, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Maxthon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Maxthon.


8. After uninstalling Maxthon, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Maxthon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
