A way to uninstall McAfee from your computer

McAfee is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by McAfee, LLC. Additional info about McAfee, LLC can be read here. Usually the McAfee application is found in the C:\Program Files\McAfee\WPS\1.11.279.1 directory, depending on the user's option during install. You can uninstall McAfee by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\McAfee\WPS\1.11.279.1\mc-update.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. The program's main executable file is labeled mc-update.exe and its approximative size is 4.84 MB (5075896 bytes).

A way to delete McAfee from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find McAfee or simply activate the Search field and type in "McAfee". If it is installed on your PC the McAfee program will be found very quickly. After you click McAfee in the list of apps, the following information about the program is shown to you:

Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about McAfee, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall McAfee.
