A way to delete McAfee Agent using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee Agent is a program released by the software company McAfee, Inc.. Some users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this is hard because doing this manually takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove McAfee Agent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find McAfee Agent or simply click the Search field and type in "McAfee Agent". If it exists on your system the McAfee Agent app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select McAfee Agent in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding McAfee Agent, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove McAfee Agent.


8. After uninstalling McAfee Agent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of McAfee Agent which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling McAfee Agent using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
