A way to remove McAfee® Total Protection with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® Total Protection is a program released by McAfee, LLC. Some people choose to remove this application. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK way to remove McAfee® Total Protection is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate McAfee® Total Protection or simply activate the Search field and type in "McAfee® Total Protection". The McAfee® Total Protection program will be found very quickly. When you select McAfee® Total Protection in the list , some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding McAfee® Total Protection, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall McAfee® Total Protection.

8. After removing McAfee® Total Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong McAfee® Total Protection that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling McAfee® Total Protection with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
