How to remove McAfee Total Protection from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee Total Protection is a program released by McAfee, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to erase it. This is difficult because uninstalling this by hand requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY manner to erase McAfee Total Protection is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows PC.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate McAfee Total Protection or simply activate the Search field and type in "McAfee Total Protection". The McAfee Total Protection application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click McAfee Total Protection in the list of applications, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about McAfee Total Protection, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall McAfee Total Protection.


8. After uninstalling McAfee Total Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong McAfee Total Protection which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing McAfee Total Protection with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
