How to uninstall NVDA from your computer

NVDA is a software application. If planning to uninstall NVDA you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files\NVDA
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\NVDA
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\comtypes_cache\nvda_noUIAccess-27
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\comtypes_cache\nvda_slave-27

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall NVDA:

• C:\Program Files\NVDA\_ctypes.pyd
• C:\Program Files\NVDA\_hashlib.pyd
• C:\Program Files\NVDA\_socket.pyd
• C:\Program Files\NVDA\_ssl.pyd

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\NVDA
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\nvda

Open regedit.exe to remove the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\NVDA\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\NVDA\DisplayName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\NVDA\InstallDir
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\NVDA\UninstallDirectory

How to uninstall NVDA from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO
