A way to uninstall NVDA from your PC

This web page contains detailed information on how to uninstall NVDA for Windows. It was coded for Windows by NV Access Limited. Further information on NV Access Limited can be seen here. More information about the software NVDA can be seen at http://www.nvaccess.org/. The application is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing NVDA is C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 41.47 KB (42464 bytes) on disk.

NVDA is composed of the following executables which occupy 365.12 KB (373880 bytes) on disk:

A way to remove NVDA from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program released by the software company NV Access Limited. Some computer users choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate NVDA or simply activate the Search feature and type in "NVDA". If it is installed on your PC the NVDA program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select NVDA in the list , the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for NVDA:

• The publisher is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall NVDA.


8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
