How to uninstall NVDA from your computer

You can find on this page details on how to remove NVDA for Windows. It was developed for Windows by NV Access Limited. You can read more on NV Access Limited or check for application updates here. More info about the program NVDA can be found at http://www.nvaccess.org/. Usually the NVDA program is placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder, depending on the user's option during setup. NVDA's entire uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 41.60 KB (42600 bytes) on disk.

NVDA is comprised of the following executables which take 345.34 KB (353624 bytes) on disk:

When you're planning to uninstall NVDA you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvda\ImagePath

A way to uninstall NVDA from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program released by NV Access Limited. Sometimes, computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this is difficult because doing this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK solution to erase NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate NVDA or simply click the Search feature and type in "NVDA". The NVDA program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click NVDA in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for NVDA:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall NVDA.


8. After removing NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
