How to uninstall Notepad++ from your system

You can uninstall Notepad++ by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\uninstall.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. Notepad++'s primary file takes around 1.58 MB (1654784 bytes) and its name is notepad++.exe.

A way to remove Notepad++ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Notepad++ is an application by Notepad++ Team. Some computer users decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this is efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Notepad++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.
DOWNLOAD NOW- navigate to Download Link
- download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.
3. Click on the General Tools button
4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button
5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you
6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Notepad++ or simply click the Search feature and type in "Notepad++". If it is installed on your PC the Notepad++ app will be found automatically. After you select Notepad++ in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Notepad++, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Notepad++.
8. After uninstalling Notepad++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Notepad++ which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Notepad++ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
