A way to uninstall Notepad++ with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Notepad++ is a program marketed by Notepad++ Team. Frequently, computer users want to remove this program. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some skill regarding PCs. - download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.
3. Press the General Tools button
4. Press the Uninstall Programs button
5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you
6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Notepad++ or simply activate the Search field and type in "Notepad++". If it is installed on your PC the Notepad++ app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Notepad++ in the list of applications, the following data about the program is available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Notepad++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for Notepad++:

- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Notepad++\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Notepad++.
8. After removing Notepad++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Notepad++ that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Notepad++ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
