A guide to uninstall OBS Studio from your system

OBS Studio is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. It is written by OBS Project. Check out here for more info on OBS Project. OBS Studio is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files\obs-studio folder, depending on the user's option. You can uninstall OBS Studio by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\obs-studio\uninstall.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. OBS Studio's primary file takes around 4.80 MB (5029192 bytes) and its name is obs64.exe.

Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you uninstall OBS Studio.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\OBS Studio
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OBS Studio

A way to erase OBS Studio from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application offered by the software company OBS Project. Some computer users choose to erase this program. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find OBS Studio or simply activate the Search feature and type in "OBS Studio". If it exists on your system the OBS Studio application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select OBS Studio in the list , the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about OBS Studio, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove OBS Studio.


8. After uninstalling OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of OBS Studio which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
