How to uninstall Okular with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Okular is an application by KDE e.V.. Some users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is difficult because uninstalling this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY practice to uninstall Okular is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Okular or simply activate the Search field and type in "Okular". If it exists on your system the Okular app will be found very quickly. When you select Okular in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Okular, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Okular:

• The software company is: https://community.kde.org/Craft
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Okular\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Okular.


8. After uninstalling Okular, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Okular which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Okular with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
