A guide to uninstall Okular from your PC

If you are manually uninstalling Okular we suggest you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

How to uninstall Okular from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Okular is an application offered by KDE e.V.. Sometimes, users try to erase it. This can be hard because removing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE action to erase Okular is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Okular or simply click the Search feature and type in "Okular". If it exists on your system the Okular app will be found very quickly. When you select Okular in the list , the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Okular, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Okular:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\NewUser\AppData\Local\Okular\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Okular.


8. After uninstalling Okular, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Okular which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Okular using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
