A guide to uninstall Onyx from your PC

Onyx is a software application. Note that you might get a notification for administrator rights. Onyx.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 5.96 MB (6251624 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall Onyx using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Onyx is an application marketed by Obsidian Control Systems. Sometimes, people try to erase this program. Sometimes this is troublesome because removing this manually takes some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY procedure to erase Onyx is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Onyx or simply activate the Search field and type in "Onyx". If it is installed on your PC the Onyx program will be found very quickly. When you click Onyx in the list of apps, the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Onyx, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Onyx:

• The publisher is: http://www.obsidiancontrol.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{F83C2884-2B9E-4871-BACF-DB3051BBE701}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Onyx.


8. After uninstalling Onyx, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Onyx that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Onyx using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
