How to uninstall ONYX from your PC

A way to erase ONYX from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ONYX is a program by the software company Obsidian Control Systems. Some people decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate ONYX or simply click the Search feature and type in "ONYX". If it exists on your system the ONYX program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select ONYX in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding ONYX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ONYX.

8. After removing ONYX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ONYX that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ONYX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
